Do you see these babies?
This is Hetalia: The Beautiful World, the fifth season of Studio Deen’s anime adaptation of Himaruya Hidekaz’s hit manga and web comic Hetalia: Axis Powers.
These babies have had a long ride, loved by millions of people the wide world over thanks to the Internet, licensing of the manga by Tokypop (and subsequent relicensing by RightStuf), and most recently, the anime’s dubbing by Funimation Studios.
Most fans were not pleased with the designs Studio Deen initially kept up for the 100 episode run, as well as the somewhat unpleasant treatment of the English dubbing process with ad-libbed lines and total character changes.
However! The two images above have given Hetalia a new lease of life with designs that are more accurate to Himaruya’s original designs and colors! New episodes with more effort put into them? Exactly what the fans have wanted!
This post isn’t about celebration, though. It’s about rallying up.
If Studio Deen is putting in an honest-to-God effort with the new season, why shouldn’t Funimation? It’s inevitable that it will be licensed, probably before air-date. This post will be a message, a petition of sorts. Funi knows its fans, and has listened to the Hetalia fandom before on many issues.
PLEASE like or reblog! This is about getting an accurate dub for the new season! Less mean-spirited jokes! Scripts that stay true to the characters that we know and love.
Lets make The Beautiful World truly beautiful!
I can not wait for the day season 5 comes out because that day will belong to Hetalia.

I agree so much with this. Between this new comic and all of the other hints left by Hima, I must say that I 100% believe that Geramny is the Holy Roman Empire. And if Hima decides to throw us a curve ball in the future, oh well!
This day should be celebrated! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE SEEN GERMANY AS A CHILD (confirmed at least).
As much as I love the ridiculousness of the crotch cloth, can we please take a moment to appreciate how freaking sweet so many moments in this episode were.
I wonder if Hungry kept the robe? I bet she did.
